A Southern Oregon Company, Start to Finish

Local ownership means the decisions about staffing, budgets, and care are made by people who live in the Rogue Valley, not by a corporate office in another state managing communities it rarely visits.

Memory care is the only care we provide. Our three communities were built and staffed around Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, so the layout, the routines, and the hiring all start from what memory loss asks of a person.

Each community has its own administrator on site, so staffing, schedules, and the shape of each day are set by someone who sees the residents every week.

A safe, compassionate, and dignified place, where every resident is comfortable and secure.

What that asks of us

  1. Safety that doesn't feel like a restriction

    Secured doors and enclosed outdoor spaces let your loved one move through the day freely. Security is the frame around daily life here, never the point of it.

  2. Compassion on the hard days, too

    Dementia brings fear and frustration, for residents and for the people who love them. We ask every caregiver to meet those moments with patience, and we ask it of ourselves first.

  3. Dignity in the details

    Help with bathing and dressing happens privately and without hurry. Rooms hold their own furniture and photographs. Small things decide whether someone still feels like themselves.

  4. Accountable in person

    A question or concern doesn't go into an inbox and wait. Your community's administrator works on site, the owners are here in the valley, and a conversation with either one can happen face to face.

A tour shows you rooms. Sitting down at the table shows you everything else: how staff talk with residents, what ends up on the plate, how an ordinary afternoon actually moves. That is what you are really deciding on, and it is hard to see from a hallway.

Family and friends always eat free, so bring whoever is helping you decide and plan your visit around a meal.

Who owns Kinsington Memory Care?

Kinsington is locally owned and operated by Heirloom, a Southern Oregon company. All three communities are owned, managed, and staffed here in the Rogue Valley.

Which areas do your communities serve?

Kinsington Place and Redwood Park are in Grants Pass, in Josephine County. Oak Grove is in Medford, in Jackson County.

Between them, the three communities are within easy reach of Central Point, Eagle Point, Rogue River, Ashland, and the Illinois Valley.

Is memory care the only care you provide?

Yes. Every community is designed and staffed for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
